Love these! They make great gifts for your loved ones. Excellent Christmas presents as well. I was able to give my Mom a tin of tallow and it helps protect her tearing fragile skin. I received my much anticipated package today. For the last year my friends have been telling me to get it on the tallow skin care regime. None actually caught my eye. Till I came across Kootenay Woman. My Soul actually stirred, that’s the sign that I had to try her products. I love nature and the forest, and believe in taking the time to create products of quality with the bounty of nature. As I just received them, I am looking forward to using the tallows, I couldn’t resist either some elderberry hot chocolate. There was a little extra tucked into the package as well. These products and the company principals resonate with me. Be patient she specifically mentioned that it takes 10 working days before it is shipped out. I’m across the country so getting it to NB from BC. It is well worth the wait.

I think this is my new favourite deodorant. No chemical additives with a light natural scent.
I use the buckhorn at night on my décolleté and has noticeably made a difference with crepiness. The Annatto seed balm and rosehip I use either during the day or evening on my décolleté and face after my serums. I love these 3 balms, they are nourishment for my skin, and a little goes along way🌻

This is my second order of this lovely balm and it's one I never want to run out of. The lovely citrus scent is so uplifting. It goes on so well and has really made a difference to my skin. Just the smell puts a smile on in my face.
I waited awhile before reviewing so I could see how effective it might be. I purchased this to help with excema, mainly on my palms but also scalp/nape. I'm so thankful to have FINALLY found something that actually works. Soothes and calms nearly instantly and it lasts. A quick dab and rub in and such relief. Thank you Sarah! This is a blessing.
This elderberry kit was sooo easy to make and even more easy to enjoy. Absolutely delicious recipe that is a joy to drink as an elixir or add to soda water as a refreshing drink. I also add it to my salad dressing and drizzle it over a spinach and blackberry salad with feta.
I swapped out my drug store day and night moisturizer for this and I am never looking back. I live in the dry, windy prairies and this is going to be amazing through the winter. Super hydrating without being greasy or heavy. My skin is glowy and it feels so nice. I am excited to see the long term benefits of going more natural. And the smell is so light and fresh. I absolutely love it. And I’m already recommending it to my friends.

My word. How have I existed before Kootenay Woman goodness? You can see the swelling in my feet and this devils club balm is the bomb. But then, I tried the Matriarch. I am immense leg/joint issues and use a cane often but this balm, it’s my new superpower. It heals all the pain and inflammation and I can walk! Both are highly recommended- absolutely incredible stuff ♥️

I am so grateful for the nourishing tallows I ordered, which were very needed for my dry summer skin. They are rejuvenating and lightly scented. The annatto seed is my favourite! The nourish box came with some delicious teas that I look forward to both starting and finishing my day with. Also included a beautiful facial oil and dried sage. This is a beautiful salve.Feels healing and the fragrance makes you feel as if you are in the forest.It might feel a bit oily at first but it absorbs quickly .Im using this and the matriarch balm as anti inflammatories and they work well.Do yourself a favour and support this cottage company..this lady knows her stuff 💜

During the summer, I get fungal rashes under my breasts, and sometimes in my pitts - the Usnea & Wildwood Resin Balm works to heal and prevent like a hot d@mn! Highly recommend it - I also am using it on the eczema I get on my foot instep - seems to be working there too - kudos and thank you for making such a great product that even smells wonderful 😊
I wanted to wait at least a month before writing a review so I could give this tallow a fair shake as far as assessing how it worked for me. I'm pretty lucky and don't have many skin issues, just general combination, but I did have quite a few closed comedones especially on my cheeks, which gave me a bit of a bumpy texture. I started using the blue tansy tallow at night, and it was the final piece of the puzzle for my skin care routine. Those comedones are GONE. That's 50 year-old skin in that picture, and it's dewy and smooth in a way it hasn't been in years. Truly phenomenal product and I love that it's from BC.

This is the most delicious healthy hot chocolate I’ve had. I love the fact that it is unsweetened and you can add sweetener if you wish. I used 1-1/2 teaspoons of the mix without any sweetener and it still was delicious! Who knew that hot chocolate could actually be good for you?

This balm is the BOMB! I bought it for a plain deodorant but found so many more uses for it! I put it on my itchy skin, hives and even trying it on toenail fungus. (Not sure how this is working yet but will keep you posted) I had a spot of acne under my nose and yesterday evening I applied the balm and today, it’s gone! I just wish I took a before picture but just have the after. What kind of sorcery is this balm? Even acne medication doesn’t work this fast! Also a little goes a long way. I am totally impressed with this balm and can’t wait to try out the other ones!
This underarm balm is just the right consistency for application, there is no irriation to my armpits, and it smells fantastic! It worked well into my day.
Sarah makes the most incredible balms and salves! I've been using them on my son's knee since his surgery and it's made the biggest difference in his recovery.
